WINTER SEASONAL SPECIAL MARKS TO DELINEATE PROHIBITED AREA

This notice supersedes LNtoM 13/2023 which is now cancelled.

Mariners are advised a series of seasonal yellow unlit winter special marks have been established between the Hilbre Islands and the West Kirby foreshore North of the Marine Lake.

These seasonal winter marks formed by two lines; one offshore West Kirby and one inshore Hilbre Island acting as boundary lines protecting the inshore marsh areas where water sports activities such as kite and wind surfers should be avoided.

This area is marked between September and April as per the chartlet below;
