Virtual engagement session appointments still available to ask about proposed Abermule bulking facility

Virtual engagement session appointments are still available for people to who want to ask questions before responding to the Abermule bulking facility application consultation.

Natural Resources Wales (NRW) permitting officers are holding a virtual engagement session on 27 October give residents a chance to ask them questions about the application and NRW’s role and the assessment process.

Ann Weedy, NRW Operations Manager for Mid Wales said:

“Feedback from the community is very important to consultations on permit applications which have such a high level of public interest.

“The virtual engagement session appointments will answer any questions people have about the application and the assessment process to ensure they can give an informed response to the consultation.”

The virtual appointments can be held using a standard telephone call or Microsoft Teams. Using Microsoft Teams allows for video calling and screen sharing in real time, which will allow officers to share images and diagrams with whoever is on the call.

The virtual engagement session will take place on 27 October between 1pm and 7pm. Members of the public can book a 20-minute slot to ask questions and discuss the application with NRW officers. Slots will be allocated based on reasonable availability.

The public consultation launched on 12 October and will end on 23 November.
