Trails for users of adaptive equipment

What you need to know

Some of our trails are suitable for people using adaptive equipment.

Adaptive equipment includes adaptive cycles, adaptive wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

We have produced a series of films to help you work out how suitable some of these trails may be for you before you visit.

Each film is narrated by a disabled person as they negotiate the route using their own equipment.

It shows the trail surface, uphill and downhill gradients and elevation and where you may need help on certain sections.

Please note:

  • If the films on this page do not display in your browser, please go to our YouTube playlist to watch them.
  • The inclusion of a trail in one of these films does not imply that it is accessible for all disabled visitors.
