What we're doing?

Natural Resources Wales gives notice that it proposes to carry out works to improve a number of the flood defence assets along the River Ebbw in Risca between ST230913 and ST254895. The proposed works will involve strengthening and raising three sections of existing flood wall adjacent to the river.

Environmental impact

Natural Resources Wales considers that the improvement works are not likely to have significant effects on the environment and does not intend to prepare an environmental statement in respect of them. A range of environmental surveys and assessments have been produced, including a Phase 1 Habitat Survey, Arboricultural Survey, Geotechnical Desk Study and Environmental Report
