Update: 31/03/2023

Our permitting charges will remain at 2022-2023 rates until any new charging schemes are agreed.

See details of the proposed charges we intend to implement for 2023-2024, subject to Ministerial approval.

For further advice on how you can vary a permit please see application forms and guidance notes below.

If you want to make an administrative change only - you only need to fill in Part C0.5 unless you are changing an address or contact details when you should also fill in Part A with the new details. To check what is an administrative page please see the guidance for Part C0.5.

If you have more than one environmental permit at the same location, you can apply to consolidate your permit. If you would like to consolidate your permit, then please contact our Customer Care Centre on 0300 065 3000 to discuss your application.

If you have a bespoke permit and want to vary to add or become a standard rule activity, you should go to our Apply for a standard rule permit activity page and follow the information there.

Look at our How to apply for an environmental permit page before you apply, for up-to-date information on the application process.
