Survey and sampling work - If you are coming into the Dee Estuary, please check all Notices to Mariners

Mariners are advised that the wreck of the sailing barge ‘Lord Delamere’ is located on the south bank of the river opposite the North Training Wall in position Lat 53° 14.309’N Long 003° 05.327’W.

Natural variations in the course of the river bed may from time to time result in the wreck being exposed during low water periods. The obstruction is marked by a black and red isolated danger buoy showing black double sphere top mark and exhibiting a white light Fl (2) 5sec.

Mariners should give the buoy a wide berth and exercise particular caution when navigating in the vicinity of the obstruction.

Notice No. 10 – 2010 is hereby cancelled.
