NOTICE OF EIA REGULATORY DECISION  ORML1957  META (Phase II) offshore marine energy testing at Warrior Way, Dale Roads and East Pickard Bay

Notice is hereby given that Natural Resources Wales (“NRW”) has taken its regulatory decision under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009 and the Marine Works (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2007 as amended (“the EIA Regulations”) in respect of the above project.

In accordance with regulation 24 of the EIA Regulations and Part 4 of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009, NRW has decided to grant regulatory approval for the project subject to conditions being imposed.

A written copy of the regulatory decision is available for public inspection on NRW’s public register. The regulatory decision is available for public inspection free of charge during normal office hours of 9am to 5pm at Cardiff Permitting Service, Natural Resources Wales, Cambria House, 29 Newport Rd, Cardiff CF240TP.

Copies of the regulatory decision may also be obtained from this web page or

permittingconsultations@naturalresourceswales.gov.uk

If printed copies are requested, a charge not exceeding reasonable copying costs may be made.  NRW is an appropriate authority under the EIA Regulations and has been delegated functions as the appropriate licensing authority by the Welsh Ministers for the purposes of Part 4 of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009. 

NOTICE OF EIA CONSENT DECISION ORML1957 META (Phase II) offshore marine energy testing at Warrior Way, Dale Roads and East Pickard Bay

Notice is hereby given that Natural Resources Wales (“NRW”) has carried out an environmental impact assessment (‘EIA’) under the Marine Works (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2007 as amended (‘the EIA Regulations’) in respect of the above project.

In accordance with regulation 22 of the EIA Regulations, NRW has decided to EIA consent for the project subject to conditions being imposed. 

The written confirmation includes the main reasons and considerations on which the EIA consent decision was based, a summary of the consultations undertaken and information gathered, conclusion about effects of the project on the environment and conditions attached to the EIA consent decision.

The written confirmation of the EIA consent decision is available for public inspection free of charge during normal office hours of 9am to 5pm at Cardiff Permitting Service, Natural Resources Wales, Cambria House, 29 Newport Rd, Cardiff CF240TP.

NRW will proceed to take a regulatory decision in relation to the application for a marine licence.
